One of them days

One of those days
When you miss everything at once
Regret everything at once
And wonder about all that could be
You want to see your family
You want your friend who is miles away
You wish you had met that one friend who is gone
You wish you had been kinder to that one person you always disregarded
and you wish you talked to him enough
to save him from where he is at right now
you wish you had somebody you could talk to tonight
as the night is darker with every passing hour
and its just you
your loneliness
the sound of your breaths
is now unbearable
and you wish there was a heartbeat
to dull all the other sounds falling on your eardrum.
